The Church of Jesus Christ of Polling-Day Problems

I liked this article.

I liked the fact that so many of Mitt Romney's supporters have been playing the Moooslim card for years, telling anyone who would listen how dangerous it is to allow these wicked believers in a Satanic cult to walk around freely, let alone run for political office; pretending that all America's Muslims support terrorism(*) and praise the "martyred" 9/11 terrorists; and that the President of the United States of America is a Muslim and thus automatically a traitor.

I liked the fact that practically identical attitudes, but this time directed at Mormons and the Republican presidential nominee, may keep Romney from being elected.

(*) Is it just me, or does that picture resemble Rudy Giuliani? The slogan certainly fits him better than anyone else on the planet, considering the extent to which he hitched his political wagon to the fallen towers.

I hadn't read that, but it is probably true - America is full of biggots.

In case of doubt, I don't approve of the anti-Mormon sentiments n themselves: it just seems appropriate that those who sow the wind should reap the whirlwind. Like watching someone try to blow up an airliner and set his ass on fire instead.
