Murder, yes. Terrorism, no. Justice, who knows?

You will remember the Fogel family, Israeli settlers in the Occupied West Bank, five of whom were murdered back in March, prompting an orgy of journalistic gun-jumping and downright invention

Two Palestinian youths were subsequently arrested and charged with the killings. this site covers the story pretty thoroughly. I'm still puzzled by The Curious Affair Of The Alarm In The Night-Time: I still reckon there was some settler involvement in the crime, even if it was just that a guard was paid off. But hey, the IDF found some Palestinans who confessed. Actually I'm surprised that the IDF didn't announce that following interrogation the boys had confessed to involvement in the Kennedy assassination, the Watergate break-in and the Lindbergh baby kidnapping.

Anyway, one of the boys has been convicted. It's noteworthy, I think, that even Ha'aretz tags this story under "Israel terrorism" when the IDF from the outset made it plain that they did not consider it a terrorist act, just a murder (or five murders). So reflexive has the equation of Palestinian = terrorist become for Israel's compliant media.
