Right Brain or Left Brain?

(Final item for now from linkbunnies.)

In a class by itself is this animation, designed to tell whether you use mainly the left or right half of your brain. I persistently see the figure turning clockwise, which makes me a right-brainer. Moreover, I have tried to see it the other way and can't get it to flip.

And no, I'm not left-handed.

Regularly flipped for me - after the first couple of times I even meant to do it. I wonder if that gives me a balanced mind or means I don't know my own mind.

Clockwise, unflippably.

Her natural direction is clockwise, but I can make her go either way at will. (Yes, I am a Gemini, why do you ask?)

Clockwise: how the hell does she get to go the otherway? what do they mean flip it?!

Brain in meltdown at own inadequacy of understanding this...

Well, I can force it to change by following e.g. her foot and saying to myself "It's behind her, now it is coming fowards on her (e.g.) left side, now it's passing in front of her..." and after a while something goes "click" and that's how I see it. Works both ways, but as I said her natural direction is clockwise.

Nope, I definitely can't get her to reverse. I wondered if her shadow was the issue, which I can't imagine being anticlockwise because of where in the circle it vanishes, but even if I crop the screen so there's no shadow I still can't get it to flip.

Woo! Just managed to flip it! If I gradually uncover the image from the feet upwards and concentrate very hard on the feet I can make it reverse. But it I close my eyes and open them again it goes back to clockwise and I have to go through the whole procedure again.

Interestingly, my left-handed wife sees it as clockwise, my left-handed son as anti-clockwise.

I just tried to leave a comment which isn't registering...anyway, she keeps changing but only if I interrupt my view of her, I can't change her at will!
