Witty and pertinent observations on matters of great significance OR Incoherent jottings on total irrelevancies OR Something else altogether OR All of the above

This post respectfully dedicated to Mordechai Vanunu, hero of the human race and political prisoner of Israel

In case you thought I was going soft with the rolling round of another orbit (enough Mad-Eye Moody references - Ed.), this story caught my attention, especially the line:

"The red line is not in Iran. The red line is in Israel. If Israel is adamant it will attack, the US will have to take decisive action," Mr Cronin [Patrick Cronin, the director of studies at the International Institute for Strategic Studies] said.

Seriously now. Is there anyone left (apart from Dick Cheney, obv.) who doesn't agree with the result of the 2003 European poll that rated Israel as the country posing the biggest threat to world peace? And if so, what planet do you come from? (What planet does Cheney come from?)
