I know they can be rather twee, but I love the Pre-Raphelites. This is a favourite - one of the few I think that shows Ophelia as mad (rather than just wet).

Guess I better get more educated, the only picture I've seen of her is the one floating. She does look a lot nicer standing (and alive). Love the blue.
Ooh, no I don't think it's an education thing. I'm in a bit of a priveleged position as I studied the Pre-Raphelites (who had a bit of thing, as many Victorians did, for this kind of literary femme). So I do have a lot of images knocking around my head.
The blue is breathtaking though - and it's one of the things I love about this picture.
Wow. To be utterly, utterly shallow ... I LOVE the dress! Great contrast of blue against background, indeed. Beautiful.
